Houston Real Estate For Sale and Lease in Downtown, Midtown, Inner Loop & Galleria Areas
Joan says Farewell to Real Estate

This month (April), marks eight years I’ve bought and sold Real Estate in the Houston Metropolitan areas. Coming out of a 15 year career in television in 2001, it was a little scary for me to venture out into a new career as a Real Estate Agent. It was a big step for me and it proved to be a good one. I enjoyed selling real estate so much that I decided to let everyone I came in contact with know that “I Love What I Do!”. This marked my motto and it stayed with me throughout my real estate career. I’ve had clients confirm that statement by telling me “you really do love what you do!”. To me, that was a great compliment as doing what you truly love doing results in a happy person and happy clients.

I met some wonderful people who started out as clients and ended up friends. It’s been a great pleasure helping these people achieve a goal in finding their “dream” home.

As a believer that all things happen for a reason, my life’s journey has taken me down a different path. Closing the door to my real estate career was tough however as the doors to a different journey continued opening, it was plain to see that the season for me as a real estate agent in the Houston area was complete.

My wonderful partner Steve and I came to Phoenix in the fall to search the job market and seek out opportunity in this area. I was led to a classified ad that proved to be the most exciting job I’ve ever had.

We are now traveling around the country as “modern day treasure hunters”, purchasing coins, precious metals and other valuables. I’ve seen places I’ve never seen before. America truly has some beautiful country! We’ve traveled the beautiful Pacific coast of Oregon, driven through a tree in the Redwood Forest, traveled through snow covered paths of the Cascade Mountains and Dixie National Forest. We’ve seen the 2nd largest water fall in the country, Multnomah Falls and the majestic Vermillion Cliffs in northern Arizona. And the journey continues! Some have said that one get’s tired of being on the road after a while….. it’s been 4 months now and I’m still not tired.

I’d like to shout a great big “THANK YOU” to all of you who chose to trust me as your real estate agent and gave me the sincere pleasure of helping with the purchase or sale of your home.

Lastly, I’d like to say that I’ve thoughtfully chosen a Broker with who I would trust with your future Real Estate needs. Here is his contact information:
Chris Charboneau Hunter Real Estate Group 2440 Robinhood St. Houston, Texas 77005 Office (713) 572-0824 Ext. 11 Cell (713) 256-6581

My cell number remains the same as well as my email address. I will stay “active” until the end of this year then I will place my license in “inactive” status. If you have questions that I can help with via phone or email, please feel free to contact me.

I wish you all the very best on this wonderful journey we call life!

With sincere gratitude and warmest wishes.

Joan
